China Town
|
|
Bangkok's China Town is an
old business centre covering a large area around Yaowarat and Charoen Krung
Roads. There are many small streets and alleys full of shops selling all
types of goods. The area is always lively and market stalls abound. It has
been the main centre for trading by the Chinese since they were moved from
their old site some 200 years ago. Nearby is Phahurat Market, one of the
city's renowned cloth centres.

Remarks: Bangkok - City of
Angels, is an urban metropolis which size is matched by the many things to see
and do. From its thriving nightlife scene and bargain shopping to some amazing
historical sights, cultural attractions, wonderful food and blissful spas to
spoil yourself. Your only regret will be not having enough time to experience it
all. Take a moment to have a look at the many offerings of the City of Angels,
and remember the better you plan your trip, the more likely you'd be able to
sample the very best. Chances are good that you'll be hooked - just like those
many people who keep on coming back for more.
